Alix is a versatile actor: strong in movement, classical and contemporary theatre, film and television. Roles that pique her interest:  strong yet somehow flawed women, women at the edge of their tether and quirky humans that remind us that the world is filled with unique hearts.

She has performed in many productions and also assisted in developing new works at The National Arts Centre, Opera Lyra, Theatre Calgary, Crows Theatre, The Great Canadian Theatre Company, The St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival and The Stratford Festival, to name only a few. 

Some favourite theatre performing credits include Charlotta in The Cherry Orchard (Modern Times), Mira in Metamorphoses (National Arts Centre), Mother in The Changeling (National Arts Centre), Auntie Gardener in Pride and Prejudice (Theatre Calgary/NAC), Rosalind in As You Like It (St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival), Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival), Gertrude in Hamlet (St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival), Emma in Betrayal (Third Wall), Harper in Far Away (Pre-show Playlist). Alix was a resident actor in the National Arts Centre’s English Theatre Ensembles in their 2012/13 season.

Some favourite film and TV credits include Played produced by Blackpills and portraying the First Lady of the United States in the TV series No Easy Days.

Alix also voiced hundreds of characters in the GOTY award-nominated Assassins Creed - Odyssey with Ubi Soft.
